Where we find peace is with our deep appreciation of Buddhism. We've been practicing Buddhism for around 10 years now. It's an amazing feat of self-control that meant that he could achieve this level of peace and calm within. And as a result, one will achieve this enlightenment and become a better person when you go back to re-interacting with society. But is that all we can do?
